Wire drawing process
1. Material preparation:
Choose appropriate wheel hub materials, such as aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, etc., clean the surface of the wheel hub to remove oil stains, rust and other impurities.
2. Wire drawing process:
The wire drawing process is mainly divided into two types: coarse wire drawing and fine wire drawing. Thick wire drawing is suitable for large wheel hubs, and fine wire drawing is suitable for small wheel hubs.
a. Coarse wire drawing: Put the wheel hub into the coarse wire drawing machine, adjust the distance between the drawing wheels, so that the wheel hub surface is in close contact with the wire drawing wheel, and through the rotation of the wire drawing wheel, a fine straight line texture is drawn out of the wheel hub surface. During the coarse wire drawing process, it is necessary to constantly adjust the distance between the drawing wheels to ensure a uniform drawing texture.
b. Fine wire drawing: Based on coarse wire drawing, perform fine wire drawing processing, put the wheel hub into the fine wire drawing machine, adjust the distance between the wire drawing wheels, so that the wheel hub surface is in closer contact with the wire drawing wheel, and through the rotation of the wire drawing wheels, the wheel hub surface To draw out a finer straight line texture, during the fine drawing process, the distance between the drawing wheels needs to be adjusted more finely to ensure a uniform drawing texture.
3. Surface treatment:
After drawing is completed, polish the surface of the wheel hub to remove burrs and scratches produced during the drawing process. During the polishing process, polishing paste and polishing cloth can be used to improve the polishing effect.
4. Painting:
In order to improve the wear resistance and aesthetics of the wheel hub, painting can be carried out after drawing. The painting process includes primer, topcoat and varnish. During the painting process, the painting environment must be strictly controlled. and workmanship to ensure coating quality.
5. Quality inspection:
After the wheel hub drawing is completed, quality inspection will be carried out, including size, surface texture, coating quality, etc. Qualified products will be packaged, and unqualified products will be reworked.
