Automobile wheel surface treatment technology

The surface treatment method of the magnesium alloy grinding wheel includes grinding the surface of the magnesium alloy grinding wheel workpiece to remove oil stains, and then ultrasonic cleaning after anodic electrophoresis; then micro-arc oxidation treatment, and then spraying, cleaning, drying, and then nickel plating, water washing, and drying; then cathode electrophoresis, water washing, and curing; then drying the intermediate coating with acrylic resin, spraying the topcoat and curing.

The method first performs electrophoretic treatment on the workpiece to form an electrophoretic paint film on the surface of the workpiece, and forms a uniform, smooth, and highly adhesive paint film on various parts of the wheel hub. Then, a nickel-plated micro-arc oxidation layer is formed on the surface of the paint film, and then cured by cathodic electrophoresis, intermediate paint, and spray topcoat.

The surface of the aluminum alloy wheel is mechanically polished and alkaline etched. The surface of the aluminum alloy wheel hub is roughly polished with an electrolyte with a higher acid concentration; the surface of the aluminum alloy wheel hub is finely polished with an electrolyte with a low acid concentration.
