Minor Heat is the 11th solar term of the 24 solar terms, the end of the noon month, and the beginning of the month. It is celebrated on July 6-8 in the Gregorian calendar. Heat is the meaning of hot; minor heat is a small heat, not very hot. Although Minor Heat is not the hottest season of the year, it is followed by Major Heat, the hottest solar term of the year.
