Oct 23, 2026

According to CCTV Finance, recently, Zhang Xue, the founder of ZXMOTO, discussed the electric motorcycle plan on the "Guanghua Record" program: The first product will be launched next year, aiming to directly compete with the top brands globally. The main features are lightweight, strong power, and high energy efficiency.

Zhang Xue stated that two-wheel electrification has a special advantage - the new energy vehicles have already laid out charging stations covering the entire country, which is equivalent to the cars having "the road built first", allowing the electric motorcycles to enter the market smoothly.

Founder Zhang Xue was born in a rural area of Huaihua, Hunan Province in 1987. In his early years, he started his career as a bicycle repair apprentice. In 2006, at the age of 19, he gained public attention for riding 100 kilometers in the rain to chase a TV program team. In 2017, Zhang Xue and his partner founded Kaiyue Motorcycle, and after leaving Kaiyue, he founded Zhang Xue Motorcycle under his own name.

The official website of Zhang Xue Motorcycle states: "Naming a motorcycle brand with one's name is to deeply integrate one's life with the motorcycle." "Our dream is to have Chinese-made motorcycles occupy a place on the world stage. Engineers must go out."

In March this year, at the Portuguese Portimão stop of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) in the intermediate class race, French rider Valentin Debis drove Zhang Xue Motorcycle's No. 53 820RR-RS racing bike and won two consecutive championships, creating a history for the Chinese motorcycle brand and breaking the monopoly of brands from Europe, America, and Japan that had lasted for over 30 years.
