1. USA DOT/SFI

DOT is the acronym for the U.S. Department of Transportation, and SFI is the U.S. Auto Parts Trade Organization. All wheels entering the United States must be DOT certified.

DOT certification requires that in the bending load endurance test and the radial load endurance test, no new cracks should be formed, and old cracks should not continue to grow at 500,000 revolutions; in the impact test, no cracks or deformation should occur.

2. Japan VIA/JWL

VIA certification full name: Japan Vehicle Inspection Association VIA laboratory certification. JWL is the certification mark of the Japanese alloy wheel rim testing agency.

The VIA standard means that the wheel has passed 2 million revolutions of ultra-high-quality inspection; JWL means that the wheel has passed the quality inspection of 500,000 revolutions. Therefore, the wheel that has passed the VIA test has a higher quality level.

3. Germany TUV

TUV is a German quality standard certification body.

In the TUV test, it is required that in the bending fatigue endurance test and the radial fatigue endurance test, the hub shall not crack at 1 million revolutions, and the screw torque shall not be reduced by more than 30%; in the impact test, cracks shall not occur and shall not appear within one minute. Tire pressure decreased. It can be seen that Germany's TUV test standards are the most stringent.
